Amy Cohn Architects was established in the year 2000.  The firm is based in Talbiya, in the center of Jerusalem.  The Architect and planners provide the client with quality professional services in the associated disciplines of architecture, interior design, space planning, construction and project supervision.  We have an established team of contractors, engineers, carpenters, kitchen manufacturers; lighting and furniture retailers marble suppliers sanitary and tile manufacturing companies and landscape designers whom we work with.  Project types served are residential apartments, private villas, public spaces including landscaping and offices.  We create distinctive modern homes embodied with an indigenous classical twist.  We are sensitive to the complex needs of our clients and use design inventiveness to support sensible functionality.  We take the client’s dream, combine it with the architect’s vision and turn it into reality!

Amy Cohn a native of New York, moved to Jerusalem in 1998. She established her architecture office in 2000.
Amy studied interior design as an undergraduate at the Fashion Institute of Technology and architecture at Parson School of Design, from which she graduated with an M.A.
She worked for three years at Pei Cobb Freed & Partners Architects in NYC on worldwide projects, such as ABN Amro Bank in Amsterdam, Silver Crown Building in Shanghai, Modern Art Museum in Athens, to name a few. She was privileged to work closely with the legendary James Freed on the design of a new entrance complex for the Israel Museum. Amy has built private homes, redesigned numerous apartments and building and created public lobbies and entrances. Amy redesigned the Prime Minister’s offices in the Knesset.

 

Our Team

Yocheved Rottenberg

Yocheved graduated from the Maalot seminary in architecture and interior design in 2008. Yocheved joined Amy Cohn Architects in 2009. As the daughter of an Egyptian mother and an American father Yocheved brings a unique design esthetic to our team.

Yana Zaslavsky

Yana graduated from Maaleh Adumim College in architecture and interior design in 2000. She joined Amy Cohn Architects in 2011. Yana is among the very talented young Olim from the former Soviet Union who are making their mark in the field of architecture.

Chani Gutman

Chani graduated in architecture and interior design in 2018. She joined our firm in 2018 while she was still finishing up her studies. Among many other talents, Chani is an expert 3D modeler in Sketchup and Vray and brings our vision to life.

Batsheva Glatt

Batsheva moved to Israel from the Belgium. She graduated in architecture and interior design in 2018. She speaks 5 languages and adds her European flair to our projects. Batsheva joined our team in 2019.
